MTMS IMPORTANT SAFETY AND LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
Thank you for choosing STAPLL. Please read the following information carefully before installing or using the MTMS. Failure to follow these guidelines may lead to serious injury, death, or damage to your vehicle.
1. Risk of Injury and Damage: Improper installation or use of this product may result in unstable loads, potentially causing injury or fatality, as well as significant damage to your vehicle.
2. Load Stability: STAPLL recommends that all loads be secured appropriately and balanced to prevent shifting during transit. Always verify that hardware is correctly torqued before driving. Fasteners can loosen over time and must be checked periodically to maintain load stability.
3. Hardware and Accessories: We strongly recommend using a bed wall stiffening product when mounting heavy loads to ensure maximum stability and prevent potential damage.
4. Load Capacity and Configurations: Due to the versatile nature of the MTMS, which allows for multiple configurations and accessory options, we do not specify a universal load rating. The supported load will vary based on the installation configuration and any accessories attached. Consult with STAPLL or your installer to determine the appropriate setup for your specific needs.
5. Limit of Liability: STAPLL assumes no responsibility for damage to your truck, truck bed, or other property resulting from the use or misuse of this product. The user is responsible for ensuring that the installation and use meet all applicable safety guidelines.
6. General Safety Precautions: Only qualified individuals with appropriate tools and experience should install the MTMS. Installation by unqualified individuals may result in improper assembly, leading to potential injury or damage. Always wear protective equipment when installing or adjusting the system.
7. Product Modifications: Any modifications, alterations, or additions made to the MTMS outside of STAPLL-approved accessories or installation methods may void warranty coverage and increase the risk of instability, injury, or damage. STAPLL is not responsible for consequences arising from unauthorized modifications.
8. Regular Inspection and Maintenance: To ensure optimal performance and safety, inspect all hardware, fasteners, and load supports regularly. Check for wear, corrosion, or any loosened components. Replace any damaged parts and re-torque all hardware as specified in the instructions before each use.
9. Operating Conditions: The MTMS is designed for typical driving conditions. Use caution when driving off-road or on uneven surfaces, as load stability may be compromised. Reduce speed and avoid abrupt maneuvers to minimize load shifting.
10. Warranty and Limitations: The MTMS comes with a 1 year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, overloading, improper installation, lack of maintenance, or unauthorized modifications. STAPLL reserves the right to determine warranty claims based on product inspection. Product Registration may be completed at stapll.com/warranty-registration

MTMS Bracket Weight Rating: Use with Common Sense
When it comes to the weight rating for our MTMS Brackets, the answer isn’t one-size-fits-all—it’s all about common sense. The wide range of truck makes, models, and designs makes it impossible to assign a universal weight limit. Factors like the year and model of the truck, the design and material of the bed rail (steel or aluminum), the placement and adjustability of the bracket, and the type of accessories mounted all play a role in determining its effective load capacity.
What we can confidently say is this: the MTMS Bracket is strong as hell. The MTMS Bracket is engineered with premium materials to ensure durability and performance:
- 18/8 Stainless Steel Passivated Hardware (corrosion-proof)
- Zinc-Plated Powder-Coated Steel
- 6061 Anodized Aluminum
It’s built to handle demanding conditions. Whether you’re hauling cargo boxes loaded with gear and tools, driving at high speeds on the highway, or navigating rugged off-road terrain, the MTMS is engineered to perform.
Ultimately, the system is designed to handle substantial weight, but as with any tool, using common sense is key. Consider your specific truck setup, your load, and the forces involved, and rest assured the MTMS Bracket is up to the challenge when used responsibly. This is a product built for real-world demands, with the strength and durability to back it up.
